When on Kalamota, one must explore! As part of the program, we are thrilled to share new places and experiences with you on land and water. We've got an exciting trek planned as well as a kayaking excursion along the island coastline to discover secret caves!
Domagoj is a sports lover, a kinesiologist by profession, and at the same time, a long-term professional athlete. He played football and did mixed martial arts (MMA) professionally, in which he recorded 4 professional victories and zero losses. Today, he is focused on individual fitness training, functional training, and MMA sports.
Individuals who want to increase their physical fitness can after a joint Morning Routine continue to exercise through functional semi-individual workouts based on more intense and complex exercises. Training is tailored to the goals (of physical fitness) that you want to achieve while staying with us. Pair it with our DETOX plan for a full-body reset.
Morning Routine takes place on Placet, the heart of a wooded elevated part of the island with a magnificent view of the open sea.
The program is based on breathing exercises and mobility in a moment that is yours and yours only and allows you to focus on yourself.
The training consists of three parts:
The goal of our training is to become healthier and more capable, improve our body's functionalities, and thus increase the quality of the vacation for the guest.
Through training, we master the basic patterns of movement that we need in everyday life by doing exercises that simulate them. We develop as many motor abilities as possible (endurance, strength, coordination, etc.) and increase the organism's energy capacity (aerobic, anaerobic).

Along with Kayaking and Trekking, the inevitable Picigin is a traditional Croatian amateur sport played on sandy beaches along the Croatian coast, including the island of Kalamota.
It is a game with no winners and no strict rules, so the only goal is relaxation and having a good time.
The game's basic rules are that there must be a minimum of four players, evenly spaced in the sea about 20cm deep. A tennis-sized ball is passed by hitting it with your palms, and the goal is to keep it in the air as long as possible.
