We truly want to encourage you to try our adventure program that we are offering completely free of charge with your stay, so grab your tennis shoes and join us on this journey.

When on Kalamota, one must explore! As part of the program, we are thrilled to share new places and experiences with you on land and water. We've got an exciting trek planned as well as a kayaking excursion along the island coastline to discover secret caves!

Meet Your Trainer

Domagoj is a sports lover, a kinesiologist by profession, and at the same time, a long-term professional athlete. He played football and did mixed martial arts (MMA) professionally, in which he recorded 4 professional victories and zero losses. Today, he is focused on individual fitness training, functional training, and MMA sports.

Morning Routine

  • A morning walk to Placet
  • Exercises of mobility, maximum mobility of joints, and movements of the full range of motion in a particular joint or group of joints.

Functional Training

The training consists of three parts:

  1.  the introductory part of the specific warm-up training is adapted to the main part of the training;
  2. the main part in which various functional exercises are done with your body and with various props such as weights, tires, and weight plates;
  3. the final part of the training is cooling down and calming the pulse.
Breaking routine program

The goal of our training is to become healthier and more capable, improve our body's functionalities, and thus increase the quality of the vacation for the guest.

Through training, we master the basic patterns of movement that we need in everyday life by doing exercises that simulate them. We develop as many motor abilities as possible (endurance, strength, coordination, etc.) and increase the organism's energy capacity (aerobic, anaerobic).

Trekking Kalamota

Trekking

  •  Church of St. Nicholas: dates from the 9th century. It is distinctive of its very narrow front door. It was renovated in 1998, and it represents the border between Donje and Gornje Čelo.
  • Donje Čelo: the main inhabited part of the island. There is a supermarket, a post office, and a clinic. It is special because of a large sandy beach that stretches throughout the whole place.
  • Cape Čavalika: the westernmost cape of the island with a view of two other inhabited Elaphite islands - Lopud and Šipan.
  • Bige: the uninhabited southern side of the island characterized by beautiful promenades that lead through a dense pine forest and high cliffs overlooking the beautiful Adriatic Sea.
  • Cape Bezdan: the easternmost point of the island with a beautiful view of Dubrovnik and the islet of Daksa, which is only a few kilometers away. There is also a small lake connected to the sea by an underground cave. The depth of the location is 40m.
  • Return to the hotel through the north side of the island.

Kayaking & Snorkelling

Kayaking Around Kolocep Island
  1. Don Gjivan: beautiful small beach with crystal clear sea.
  2. Jekavac Bay: there is only one private house in the bay.
  3. Galija Reef: Diving on the east side of the ridge
  4. Cape Bezdan: the depth of the sea is about 40m. At a depth of 10m, a cave is connected to the lake. At the bottom, there is a wreck of the ship Aurora.
  5. Blue Cave: This cave is so special thanks to the sunlight's reflection off of the white seabed, which creeps through the cave's opening, giving it a mesmerizing silvery-blue hue. 
  6. Return to the hotel

Note for guests: Kayaking tours are limited to eight people at a time, and we definitely recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and WATER.

Picigin

Picigin

It is a game with no winners and no strict rules, so the only goal is relaxation and having a good time.

The game's basic rules are that there must be a minimum of four players, evenly spaced in the sea about 20cm deep. A tennis-sized ball is passed by hitting it with your palms, and the goal is to keep it in the air as long as possible.

The activity is organized upon request.

    • BASICS OF BOXING and KICKBOXING (basic techniques and movements and pad work )
    • BASICS OF WRESTLING (basic positions and moves in wrestling)
    • HIIT TRAINING (high-intensity interval training, bodyweight exercises, and exercises with props)
